Kam
Hau, P. Eng. has thirty years of progressive responsibility and engineering experience.
Kam graduated
from University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario in 1979 with a Bachelor of Engineering degree. He is a registered Professional
Engineer in the Province of Ontario.
Following graduation in 1979, Kam worked for Dow Chemical in Sarnia, Ontario
for 30 years on a wide variety of projects. These included some of the world scale capital projects in Middle East, Europe
and Asia for the Dow Chemical Company.
From 1991 to 2000, Kam is a member of the River Separation Team for Dow’s
Sarnia Operation. He was responsible to evaluate existing cooling water system for 10 local production plants, design and
implement new cooling water system for the individual unit based on needs and limitations. In 1990, Kam received an Environmental
Award for this work.
Kam has been a member of the Global Heat
Transfer Team from 1988 to 2008 for the Dow Chemical Company. His responsibility in this role was to oversee the development
of Heat Transfer Technology within Dow. This included the development of Heat Transfer Training material, conducting training
classes for various Dow locations, designing new and retrofit heat transfer equipment, reviewing and approving heat transfer
equipment designs by other process engineers with Dow and contractors.
